Briefing on Republic of Korea - Kingdom of Belgium Summit
President Moon Jae-in and His Majesty the King of the Belgium, who is making a state visit to ROK, held a summit at Cheong Wa Dae on March 27. They discussed a wide range of agenda items, including how to promote friendship and strengthen substantive cooperation between the two countries. In his opening remarks, President Moon said that Belgium's national motto ˝Unity makes strength˝ is a spirit that definitely resonates with the Korean people who yearn for peaceful unification.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Kang Kyung-wha will meet with Secretary of State Mike Pompeo at the US Department of State, Washington DC, on the afternoon of March 29. In the meeting, the Minister and the Secretary will share assessments of the situation in the wake of the second US-North Korea summit and discuss ways to move forward.

ROK Decides to Extend Combined US$500,000 in Humanitarian Assistance to Cyclone-stricken countries
The government of the Republic of Korea has decided to extend a combined US$500,000 in humanitarian assistance to the Republic of Mozambique, the Republic of Zimbabwe, and the Republic of Malawi, which sustained massive damage from a cyclone in March 2019.
