Korea-UNESCO to Cooperate for Peace on Korean Peninsula
President Moon Jae-in, on a trip to five European countries, held a meeting with UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay in Paris on October 16 and discussed the ways Korea and the organization can cooperate to help settle peace on the Korean Peninsula.
ROK Government Extends Dispatch Period of Military Transport Aircraft to Support Recovery Efforts in Indonesia
The government of the Republic of Korea has decided to extend the dispatch period of its two military transport aircraft, sent to the Republic of Indonesia to support the country’s recovery efforts from the earthquake and subsequent tsunami that hit Sulawesi Island on September 28, until October 26.
