Outcome of Telephone Conversation between ROK and Japanese Foreign Ministers
Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha held a telephone conversation with Foreign Minister of Japan Taro Kono on October 31, during which the two top diplomats shared with each other the respective positions of the ROK and Japan on the ROK Supreme Court’s ruling on October 30 regarding victims of forced labor during Japan’s colonial rule of the Korean Peninsula.

Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha met with US Special Representative for North Korea Stephen Biegun on October 29. In the meeting, the two sides shared with each other recent developments in the situation on the Korean Peninsula and discussed ways to achieve a complete denuclearization and build a lasting peace.
Results of Vice Foreign Minister Lee’s Bilateral Meetings in UAE
Vice Foreign Minister Lee Tae-ho, who was on a visit to the United Arab Emirates from October 30 to November 1, met bilaterally with Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Anwar Gargash, and Minister of Energy and Industry Suhail Al-Mazroui on October 31, and exchanged views on matters of mutual interest.
