Remarks by President Moon Jae-in at Joint Press Conference Following Korea-Kazakhstan Summit
First and foremost, I am truly grateful to President Tokayev and the people of Kazakhstan for inviting me as a state guest and warmly welcoming me and my delegation. This year is significant as it marks the 10th anniversary of the strategic partnership established between Kazakhstan and Korea. I am very pleased to be able to have candid, heart-to-heart discussions with Your Excellency about the future of cooperation between our two countries in this important year.
Remarks by President Moon Jae-in at Joint Press Conference Following Korea-Uzbekistan Summit
Assalam Alaikum (Good morning)! I am truly grateful to President Mirziyoyev and the people of Uzbekistan for warmly welcoming me and my delegation. I am pleased to see President Mirziyoyev again; he is like a brother to me. Your Excellency is leading Uzbekistan’s new development with reform policies across all sectors, including politics, the economy and society.
The President Meets with Secretary of the Russian Security Council Nikolai Patrushev
President Moon Jae-in met a delegation from the Russian Federation led by Nikolai Patrushev, Secretary of the Security Council on April 25th. President Moon assessed that the Russia-DPRK summit which took place today will constructively contribute to the complete denuclearization and establishment of permanent peace on the Korean Peninsula.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Meets with Chief Executive Officer of American Jewish Committee (AJC)
Minister of Foreign Affairs Kang Kyung-wha met with Chief Executive Officer of the American Jewish Committee (AJC) David Harris on the afternoon of April 24, and exchanged views on the situation on the Korean Peninsula, the Republic of Korea-United States alliance, and the ROK-State of Israel relations.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Meets with US Senators
On the afternoon of April 24, Minister of Foreign Affairs Kang Kyung-wha met with Senators of the United States Chris Coons and Maggie Hassan, during which the two sides exchanged views on issues concerning the Republic of Korea-United States relations and the situation on the Korean Peninsula.
