Telephone Conversation between Korean and Indonesian Foreign Ministers

Minister of Foreign Affairs Chung Eui-yong spoke over the phone with Minister for Foreign Affairs of Indonesia Retno L.P. Marsudi on March 1 for the first time since his inauguration, and exchanged views on ways to advance bilateral relations and on regional situations. The two Foreign Ministers noted with appreciation that the two countries are strengthening substantive cooperation in a range of areas even amid the COVID-19 pandemic, and agreed to continue to develop the special strategic partnership between the two countries by deepening cooperation, especially in national defense and security as well as trade and investment.
