The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade published a booklet introducing Korea’s ODA. Korea has participated in the international community’s efforts to eradicate poverty and ensure sustainable development in developing countries by providing 0.8 billion dollars in aid in 2008 and plans to continue increasing contributions to the international community.

The booklet introduces the 4th High Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness to be held in Seoul, Korea in late 2011 and various government aid projects in Ethiopia, Cambodia, Montenegro and Jordan. It also gives information on KOICA’s training programs which have invited close to 30,000 foreign trainees from 1991 to provide education in governance, rural development, industry and energy among others.
