The 7th round of the negotiation for a free trade agreement between Korea and the European Union(EU) will be held at the EU headquarters in Brussels from May 12 to 15.  Sub meetings on areas of most decisive issues regarding rules of origin/customs, service, tariffs and intellectual property will be held.

 Through six rounds of negotiations, Korea and EU came to agree to a certain degree on areas such as trade agreement on goods, trade remedies, Technical Barriers to Trade(TBT), Sanitary and Phytosanitary(SPS) Measures, grants, general rules etc. Negotiations on these areas will take place between the heads from both parties.
